Things to do in Dover

Dover is the capital of Delaware and the seat of Kent County, a small city where state government, Dover Air Force Base and healthcare provide much of the local employment. The air base is one of the largest aerial ports in the country, home to giant C-5 and C-17 cargo aircraft, and Delaware State University, a historically Black university, adds students, research and athletics. The historic Green, laid out in the eighteenth century, is where Delaware ratified the Constitution in 1787, making it the first state.
