Things to do in Lake Havasu City

Lake Havasu City was planned in the 1960s by industrialist Robert McCulloch, who famously bought the London Bridge and had it rebuilt over a channel cut through to an island in the lake. Today the city of more than 50,000 lines the Arizona shore of Lake Havasu, a reservoir on the Colorado River formed by Parker Dam. Tourism, boating and retirement drive the economy, along with healthcare, construction and a cluster of performance boat builders.
