Things to do in Newport

Newport sits at the southern tip of Aquidneck Island, at the mouth of Narragansett Bay. Newport is also one of the world’s great sailing towns, the longtime home of the America’s Cup, and it hosts the Naval War College and Naval Station Newport, Salve Regina University, and an economy driven by tourism, marine trades and defense.
