Things to do in Enid

Enid grew up on wheat, and its rows of towering grain elevators make it one of the largest grain storage centers in the country. Oil and gas have been just as important: the region sits atop productive fields, and Continental Resources was founded here. Vance Air Force Base trains Air Force pilots, bringing a steady stream of military families, instructors and contractors, and agriculture, healthcare and manufacturing round out a regional economy that serves much of northwest Oklahoma.
