Safety: Part 135 standards on every flight
Every Bluebird flight is an FAA Part 135 charter flight, held to commercial standards for pilots, maintenance and operations. Our Learjet 60s fly with two pilots; brokered trips fly with vetted Part 135 operators.
Commercial standards
Every Bluebird flight is an FAA Part 135 charter flight. Part 135 operators are certificated and audited by the FAA and held to commercial standards for pilot training and experience, aircraft maintenance and operations, well beyond the rules for private flying.
Two pilots on our Learjet 60s
Every flight on our Learjet 60s has two pilots, a captain and a first officer, trained under our Part 135 program. See Our pilots and training.
Brokered trips
When we source an aircraft from another operator, we use vetted FAA Part 135 operators. The operating carrier is named on your quote and holds operational control of the flight. See Who operates my flight?.
The pilot decides
The pilot-in-command always has the final say on whether a flight is safe to operate.
